• The Silver Masks Awards are asigned to the best creative talents in national theater of the passing season. "Silver Masks" are awarded since 1983 at the initiative of Thomas Pawlowski, the chief-editor of "Tygodnik Powszechny " and President of the Association of Friends of the Theatre. "Silver Masks" admits grand jury Płocki Society of Friends of the Theatre. The verdict is maintained until the last minute in the strictest confidence.
